The Filippov family live in the north of Russia, far from civilisation. Despite the lack of modern conveniences, they live in harmony with nature, create art, support and understand each other like no other people in this world.

Max is unemployed and dreams of becoming a musician. His neighbour, the elderly Viktor, is blind. Representatives of different generations and cultures, they nonetheless provide each other with a way of escaping their loneliness: Max needs a father figure, while Viktor needs a son.

Deprived of desperation by everyday problems, the hero comes to the pharmacy, where it is rumored to get poison, which can not be hidden by any means.
