Vent frais, lune claire est une école militaire d'élite fondée avec le soutien du peuple qui aspire à un monde en paix et prospère. Les meilleurs sabreurs Ji-hwan et Gyu-yeop échangent dès leur première rencontre des serments d'amitié, jurant de vivre et de mourir ensemble. Une fois leur formation terminée, Gyu-yeop est envoyé dans une unité militaire éloignée à la frontière tandis que Ji-hwan est nommé officier dans la garnison qui défend le palais royal. Le roi Ye-jong est quelqu'un d'intelligent qui aime résoudre lui-même les affaires judiciaires et mener l'enquête. Yi-seo est son assistant, en charge de tenir le journal et les mémoires du roi mais leur relation n'est pas toujours des plus évidentes, notamment du fait de la maladresse de Yi-seo. Tandis qu'une étrange rumeur se répand dans Hanyang, le roi est bien décidé à mettre à jour ce qu'elle cache.

Pendant ce temps, des émissaires secrets, qui doivent remettre au Roi de Joseon, un stauroscope, se font successivement tuer par des inconnus, sauf l’un d’entre-eux, Gong Goo. C’est alors qu’un haut dignitaire contacte Moo-Myung et lui demande de retrouver cet émissaire ainsi que le stauroscope, en lui offrant une importante somme d’argent. Les trois jeunes filles partent à la recherche de cet émissaire et se trouvent rapidement confrontées aux assassins des émissaires.

Gwanggaeto, The Great Conqueror is an alternate title for King Gwanggaeto the Great, a historical drama based on the life of the nineteenth monarch of Goguryeo, Gwanggaeto the Great. The drama was based on two sources, Gwanggaeto the Great by Jeong Jip, and Great Conquests of Gwanggaeto by Hyeong Minu.

The King of Legend is a 2010 South Korean historic drama based on King Geunchogo of Baekje. Besides than the historic info obtained from Samguk Sagi and Samguk Yusa, it was also inspired by a novel written by Lee Munyeol, a renowned Korean writer. The drama was aired on KBS 1TV in Korea, and internationally through KBS World.
