Kun yliopistobändin laulaja eroaa yhtyeestä, heitä pubikeikalla katsomassa ollut Sansibarissa syntynyt Farrokh Bulsara menee esittelemään bändille laulutaitojaan. Bändin jäsenet vakuuttuvat ja Farrikhista tulee yhtyeen uusi laulaja - ja loppu onkin historiaa. Bohemian Rhapsody on järisyttävä kunnianosoitus Queenin musiikille ja yhtyeen legendaariselle laulajalle Freddie Mercurylle, josta tuli yksi maailman rakastetuimmista viihdyttäjistä. Yhtyeen rakettimainen nousu, ikoniset kappaleet ja vallankumouksellinen soundi olivat kaikki vähällä tuhoutua, kun Mercuryn elämä lähti syöksykierteeseen.
