Tomek leads a comfortable life as a TV anchor and family man when he receives a troubling message from the psychiatric hospital in his hometown: his father, whom he has not seen in years, has just been admitted. A man, right after his graduation, seeks a dream job in a corporation. The corporate world, however, appears to him as a higher and higher nonsense and repetitive mindless scheme. While looking for a job, the protagonist moves into a cheap flat that resembles a house from horror movies.

Landscape architect Emil is fighting an uneven battle with those indifferent to the beauty of nature. He is trying to be a good father, but his neurotic rigidity pushes him into a spiral of absurd events.
