Ο αγαπημένος Μεγαλοπατούσας και η οικογένειά του επιστρέφουν στη μεγάλη οθόνη για μια αξέχαστη περιπέτεια! Λίγους μήνες μετά την επανασύνδεσή της, η οικογένεια του Άνταμ ζει ευτυχισμένη και εκείνος αρχίζει να συνηθίζει σιγά-σιγά τις νέες του δυνάμεις. Αλλά όταν ο Μεγαλοπατούσας αποφασίσει να φύγει για να σώσει μια κοιλάδα από τη σατανική εταιρεία πετρελαίου Χ Tract, θα εξαφανιστεί, οπότε η Σέλι, ο Άνταμ, ο Γουίλμπερ και ο Τράπερ θα αποφασίσουν να ερευνήσουν τι συνέβη.

Ο κύριος Λινκ, ένα έξυπνο και καλόψυχο θηρίο, αποτελεί το τελευταίο δείγμα της πρωτόγονης καταγωγής του ανθρώπου. Ο Τζιμ και η κοπέλα του, Κέλι, ταξιδεύουν στη δασική περιοχή του Willow Creek, ακολουθώντας τα βήματα του Πάτερσον και του Γκίμλιν, που το 1967 είχαν τραβήξει το περίφημο βίντεο με τον Μεγαλοπόδαρο, το μυθικό τέρας. Η Κέλι είναι σκεπτικίστρια και το βλέπει όλο αυτό σαν βόλτα με τον φίλο της και σαν διάλειμμα από την εργασία της ως ηθοποιός. Ο Τζιμ είναι πιστός στον μύθο και με το μυαλό πως θα καταφέρει να τραβήξει κι αυτός τον Μεγαλοπόδαρο, έχει συνεχώς την κάμερα ανοιχτή.

Μια παρέα φίλων οι οποίοι πάνε εκδρομή στα απομονωμένα δάση του Τέξας για εορταστικό Σαββατοκύριακο, καταλήγουν να καταδιώκονται απ' τον "Μεγαλοπόδαρο"...

The X Creatures is a British documentary television series that was produced by the BBC in 1998, which was broadcast in 1999 on BBC 1. It was presented by Chris Packham, and examined the possibility of the existence of cryptozoological creatures. The name of the show was a reference to the popular fictional television show The X-Files. Each episode involved Chris Packham travelling to a certain place on Earth where the creature supposedly exists, and examining eye witness accounts, as opposed to searching for the creature. No VHS or DVD releases were ever made.
