Ωστόσο, ο ίδιος ο Φόρεστ παραμένει ανέπαφος από όλα αυτά, καθώς η ανάμνηση της Τζένη, η οποία έχει χαθεί στο κόσμο των χίπις και των ναρκωτικών, ήταν και είναι ακόμα ζωντανή μέσα του.
