Η νέα ταινία εξερευνά την προέλευση και την ιστορία αυτών των Τιτάνων, καθώς και τα μυστήρια της Νήσου του Κρανίου και πέραν αυτής, ενώ αποκαλύπτει τη μυθική μάχη που σφυρηλάτησε αυτά τα εκπληκτικά όντα και τα έφερε κοντά στην ανθρωπότητα για πάντα.

Τα μέλη μιας παράτολμης ερευνητικής ομάδας βουτάνε στα βαθύτερα σημεία του ωκεανού και καταλήγουν να παλεύουν για τη ζωή τους όταν πέσουν πάνω σε μία επικίνδυνη αποστολή εξόρυξης. Σε έναν εφιαλτικό αγώνα ενάντια στον χρόνο, οι ήρωες μάχονται ενάντια σε γιγαντιαίους μεγαλόδοντες και στον αδίστακτο ανθρώπινο παράγοντα που καταστρέφει το περιβάλλον. Αν θέλουν να επιβιώσουν πρέπει να σκέφτονται και να κολυμπούν πιο γρήγορα από τους αμείλικτους θηρευτές τους.

Ένας αθλητής επιστρέφει στο σπίτι του για να αναλάβει τα καθήκοντα του πατέρα του ως Ούλτραμαν, προστατεύοντας το Τόκιο από γιγάντια τέρατα, καθώς γίνεται θρυλικός ήρωας.

Αμέτρητα γιγάντια τέρατα ξεπροβάλλουν από τον Ειρηνικό Ωκεανό, αφήνοντας χάος στο πέρασμά τους. Κι ενώ το ανθρώπινο είδος φαίνεται καταδικασμένο, ένας πρώην πιλότος και μια εκπαιδευόμενη συνεργάζονται για να σώσουν τον πλανήτη.

Ένα βαθυσκάφος υποθαλάσσιας παρατήρησης δέχεται επίθεση από ένα φοβερό κήτος και ακινητοποιείται στα βάθη του Ειρηνικού. Με τον χρόνο να μετρά αντίστροφα, ένας δύτης αναλαμβάνει να σώσει το παγιδευμένο πλήρωμα και τον ωκεανό.

Μια κρυφή ζωολογική ομάδα, παρακολουθεί από κοντά την εξέλιξη και τη δράση μυθικών πλασμάτων που ζουν στο βυθό της θάλασσας. Ανάμεσα σε αυτά, είναι ο Godzilla που θα βρεθεί για άλλη μια φορά και πάλι υπέρ της ανθρωπότητας, καθώς θα αντιμετωπίσει τέρατα όπως τους Mothra, Rodan αλλά και την απόλυτη νέμεση του, τον τρικέφαλο βασιλιά Ghidorah. Οι μάχες του θα παίξουν θεμελιώδη ρόλο στην ισορροπία του πλανήτη και το μέλλον της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης.

1933 και ο Καρλ Ντέναμ, ένας φιλόδοξος σκηνοθέτης μισθώνει μία ομάδα εξερευνητών για να μεταφέρουν τον ίδιο, το σεναριογράφο και πρώην πιλότο μαχητικών αεροσκαφών Τζακ Ντρίσκολ και τους ηθοποιούς του στο νησί που ο μύθος το θέλει να είναι η Νήσος-Νεκροκεφαλή, καθώς δεν είναι καν χαρτογραφημένο! Εκεί, θα προσπαθήσουν να συλλέξουν λεπτομέρειες για το θρύλο του τεράστιου γορίλα με το όνομα "Κονγκ", αλλά γρήγορα θα διαπιστώσουν ότι ο Κινγκ Κονγκ είναι αληθινός και ζει σε μία αχανή ζούγκλα, όπου επίσης έχουν διασωθεί τεράστια πλάσματα της προϊστορικής εποχής. Με το φόβο των δεινοσαύρων και του Κονγκ, το κινηματογραφικό συνεργείο αποχωρεί, αφού όμως πρώτα το τεράστιο ζώο σαγηνευτεί από την πρωταγωνίστρια της ταινίας Αν Ντάροου. Ο Κονγκ τους ακολουθεί και, αφού αιχμαλωτίζεται, μεταφέρεται στη Νέα Υόρκη, όπου εκτίθεται σε έναν διαμορφωμένο χώρο για τους έκθαμβους περαστικούς. Ο κυρίαρχος της ζούγκλας, όμως, δεν μπορεί να μείνει φυλακισμένος για πολύ...

Μια επική αναγέννηση του πασίγνωστου Γκοτζίλα. Σε αυτή η θεαματική περιπέτεια συναντάμε το πιο διάσημο Καϊτζού του κόσμου ενάντια σε τρομερά τέρατα που απειλούν την ύπαρξη μας, δημιουργημένα από την αλαζονεία της ανθρώπινης επιστήμης.

Η διαμάχη ανάμεσα στα τεράστια τέρατα μαζικής καταστροφής, τα Καϊτζού και στα γιγαντιαία ρομπότ, τα Γιάγκερ, τα οποία ελέγχονται ταυτόχρονα από δυο πιλότους μέσα από μια γέφυρα νευρώνων, ήταν μονάχα η αρχή για την απόλυτη απειλή που βιώνει η ανθρωπότητα στην ταινία Pacific Rim: Εξέγερση. Αυτήν τη φορά, ο Τζέικ, ο άλλοτε πολλά υποσχόμενος πιλότος των Γιάγκερ, του οποίου ο θρυλικός πατέρας έδωσε τη ζωή του για να εξασφαλίσει τη νίκη της ανθρωπότητας ενάντια στα τερατώδη Καϊτζού, καλείται να εγκαταλείψει τον υπόκοσμο, όπου έχει μπλεχτεί, και να φανεί αντάξιος της κληρονομιάς του πατέρα του, αντιμετωπίζοντας τα εξωγήινα τέρατα. Στο πλευρό του Τζέικ βρίσκουμε τον Λάμπερτ και τη δεκαπεντάχρονη Αμάρα, οι οποίοι μαζί με τους υπόλοιπους επίλεκτους πιλότους ξεκινούν μια παγκόσμια εξέγερση ενάντια στις δυνάμεις που απειλούν με αφανισμό την ανθρωπότητα.
