Guna is a village labourer in the hinterlands of Maharashtra. Holding a passion for the 'tamasha' theatre shows, he decides to start his own troupe. Instead of the prestigious role of the king he always dreamed of, he ends up having to play a 'nachya', an effeminate, homosexual man. He goes ahead with the decision, which forever changes him and his family, as he ends up torn between his artistic passion and his societal prestige.
When Cupid strikes the very first time it sees no class or caste barrier. And though the path to reunite with a loved one seems arduous and almost impossible, it's this love which makes a person do good things. Love doesn't remain a Time Pass anymore.
The story is of 3 brothers- the family head ‘Ratan Dada’ (Ashok Saraf) and his 2 brothers Madan (Makarand Anaspure) and Chandan (Bharat Jadhav), running their Kurale garage. The younger duo never dares to go against dada's wish. Dada is a character who hates female because of his first love. A girl (Sukanya Kulkarni) betrayed him after a marriage proposal.
An army officer from a small village passes away after he marries a girl. The whole village, including both her families, decide to disown her owing to her being unlucky.
A group of best friends swear to never be with a girl but as they get sent to a boarding institution, each of them becomes enamored with a different girl.
