Natsume kann seit seiner frühester Kindheit Yokai (Geisterwesen) sehen. Durch diese besondere Gabe ist Natsume jedoch in der Gesellschaft zu einem Außenseiter geworden, wodurch er auch den Yokai selbst eher zurückhaltend gegenübersteht. Eines Tages erbt er von seiner Großmutter Reiko das "Buch der Freunde", in dem die Namen aller Yokai verzeichnet sind, mit denen diese einen Pakt geschlossen hatte. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird Natsume in viele aufregende Abenteuer verwickelt, da die meisten Yokai sehr großes Interesse an diesem Buch haben und mit allen Mitteln versuchen in dessen Besitz zu gelangen. Allen voran Nyanko-sensei, ein Geist in Katzenform, der von Natsume von einem Bann befreit wurde…

Hinako hat gerade die Oberschule abgeschlossen und ist nun eine frischgebackene Universitätsstudentin. Dafür zog sie vor kurzem in eine Küstenstadt, doch die Nähe zur Uni war kaum der einzige Grund für Hinako, denn sie surft leidenschaftlich gern! Während sie auf dem Surfbrett mutig selbst den gefährlichsten Wellen trotzt, sieht sie sich an Land jedoch von der Unsicherheit über ihre eigene Zukunft geplagt … Als ein Feuer in der Küstenstadt für Chaos sorgt, lernt Hinako den jungen Feuerwehrmann Minato kennen und schon bald verbringen die beiden mehr Zeit miteinander. Als sie so gemeinsam auf dem Meer surfen und sich besser kennenlernen, fühlt sich Hinako mehr und mehr zu dem jungen Mann hingezogen, der sich so offen und aufopferungsvoll für andere einsetzt. Doch auch sie selbst genießt einen besonderen Platz im Herzen Minatos …

Die junge Sakura ist eigentlich eine ganz normale Schülerin, doch versehentlich hat sie das mysteriöse Buch des Hexenmeisters Clow Reed geöffnet und die magischen "Clow Cards""befreit. Kero-Chan, der Wächter des Buches, verleiht Sakura daher besondere Kräfte: Fortan ist es ihre Aufgabe, als Card Captor Sakura die entflohenen Karten, welche über einzigartige wundersame Fähigkeiten verfügen, wieder einzufangen.

Sakura und ihre Freunde bereiten mit ihrer ganzen Schule das Nadeshiko Fest vor, als das Siegel einer geheimnisvollen dreiundfünfzigsten Karte bricht. Von da an geschehen seltsame Dinge. Pfeiler und Brücken verschwinden spurlos, ebenso wie nach und nach Sakuras Karten! Zunächst hat niemand eine Erklärung dafür. Weisen die Geschehnisse zwar offenbar auf eine Clow Card hin, scheint das doch unmöglich. Schließlich hat Sakura längst alle Karten gefangen! Das Nadeshiko Fest rückt näher und damit der Auftritt des Schultheaters, dem auch Sakura angehört. Als dann am Abend des Festes Sakuras großer Moment gekommen ist, geschieht das Unfassbare: Die Zuschauer verschwinden nacheinander, und den Freunden wird schnell klar, das doch eine Clow Card im Spiel sein muss...

Tenjou Utena, ein Mädchen voller Ideale und mit hohen Zielen, kommt neu an die Ohtori Akademie, wo sie dank ihrer Kleidung zuerst für einen Jungen gehalten wird. Unverhofft trifft sie dort ihre alte Liebe Kiryuu Toga, der sagt, durch ein Rosensiegel ebenfalls dorthin geführt worden zu sein. Wortwörtlich durch die Blume gelangt auch Utena an so ein Siegel in Form eines Ringes und schon dreht sich die Spirale weiter, in der sie Himemiya Anthy trifft, die Rosenbraut. Wer sie besitzt, erlangt die Macht die Welt zu revolutionieren und um sie zu bekommen, muss man sich in einem Schwertduell messen. Ohne genau zu wissen warum, stürzt sich Utena in dieses gefährliche Spiel und bald wird klar, dass sie und Anthy ihre eigene Vergangenheit bewältigen müssen, um eine neue Zukunft für sich zu finden.

In der Mittelschule hatte Futaba nicht viel für Jungs übrig – bis auf Kou, der ihr Herz zum Höherschlagen brachte. Doch durch ein dummes Missverständnis verlaufen sich Futabas Chancen, seine Liebe zu gewinnen, im Sand, und Kou zieht fort. Erst drei Jahre später treffen sich die beiden auf der Oberstufe wieder. In der Gegenwart bietet Orange: Mirai einen Rückblick auf wichtige Ereignise aus der Sicht von Suwa, erzählt aber auch wie sich die Geschichte nach dem Valentinstag weiter entwickelt. In der Zukunft zeigt der Film vor allem, wie die Briefe geschrieben und in die Vergangenheit geschickt werden.

In diesem Kompilationsfilm wird, neben bekannten Szenen, vor allem die Geschichte von Kyouko und Katsuya, Toorus Eltern, erzählt. Zusätzlich werden einige komplett neue Szenen gezeigt, die nach dem Ende der dritten Staffel spielen.

Orihime hat eine ganz besondere Überraschung für Ichigo parat: Sie bekommt die Chance ein eigenes und spezielles Konzert zu geben. Der Name für das Konzert ist schnell gefunden, doch damit auch alles perfekt wird, müssen noch viele andere Dinge geplant und organisiert werden und das ist, wie Ichigo schnell fest stellen muss, gar nicht so einfach. Glücklicherweise hat sie aber ihre Freunde, die ihr mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen.

So verbringen die beiden ihre Tage im Literaturklub damit, dass Konoha Kurzgeschichten schreibt, die von Amano anschließend aufgegessen werden. Ihr gemütlicher Alltag wird jedoch jäh unterbrochen, als sich im Kummerkasten, den Amano für Leute mit Liebesproblemen aufgestellt hat, ein Brief findet.

Super Doll★Licca-chan (スーパードール★リカちゃん Sūpā Dōru Rika-chan?) is TV anime series which ran on TV Tokyo from 1998–1999. Kodansha also serialized a manga based on the anime series in its monthly manga magazine Nakayoshi. The story follows an ordinary elementary school girl named Licca Kayama and the strange circumstances surrounding her origins, as well as the origins of her protector, Doll Licca. The series is an original story spin-off inspired by the long-selling and popular Takara doll lineup "Licca-chan", created by Miyako Maki, designed to expand the regular dress-up doll series into a line of action figures. However, the new figures were only a mild success, and did not remain in production for long.
