Velkommen til en ny, animeret triumf fra studiet DreamWorks, der også har stået bag Shrek og The Prince of Egypt. Vi følger den utæmmede hingst Spirits eventyrrejse tværs over det vilde vesten, hvor han bliver ven med en ung Lakota indianer og finder den store kærlighed i en sød hoppe. Filmen er holdt i en realistisk stil, hvor dyrene ikke kan tale, men kommunikerer gennem prust, støn og øjenkontakt.
Efter et tragisk flystyrt strander to fremmed (Kate Winslet og Idris Elba) på et fjernt, snedækket bjerg, og de bliver tvunget til at komme tæt på hinanden for at overleve under de ekstreme forhold. Da de indser, at hjælpen ikke kommer, sætter de ud på en farlig rejse gennem vildmarken for at redde sig selv.
På vej hjem fra jagt, kører familien Henderson ind i hvad der, til deres store overraskelse, viser sig at være en Bigfoot. I den tro at han er død tager de ham med hjem, men han liver i den grad up. Og langt fra at være et farligt monster, så er han ret så venlig, og bliver snart en del af familien.
En hyggelig sightseeingtur op ad en af floderne i Australiens Kakadu Nationalpark bliver forvandlet til et mareridt for en håndfuld uskyldige turister og bådens kaptajn, den afslappede kaptajn Kate Ryan (Radha Mitchell). Undervejs ser de rejsende et nødsignal fra længere oppe ad floden, og Kate føler sig forpligtet til at undersøge det nærmere. Det skulle hun dog aldrig have gjort (hvis hun bare havde vidst, hun var med i en gyserfilm!). Kate styrer båden og de intetanende turister ud af de normale sejlruter, og de kommer til en del af floden, hvor en gigantisk - og glubsk - krokodille hersker. Og den bryder sig ikke om, at fremmede trænger ind på dens territorium!
De tre studerende Thomas, Johanna og Kalle får til opgave at lave en dokumentarfilm om en lokal personlighed. De vælger en enspænder, som kommer til byen med jævne mellemrum – det eneste, de ved om ham, er, at han hedder Hans, og de mistænker ham for at være ulovlig bjørnejæger. Men det viser sig hurtigt, at der er noget helt andet og meget mere farligt på spil. Hans fortæller Thomas, Johanna og Kalle historier om, hvordan myndighederne bevidst har ført det norske folk bag lyset gennem generationer. I starten nægter de at tro på ham, men inden længe står det klart, at de tre nu ligger inde med en farlig viden, som kan få dramatiske konsekvenser. Det handler om trolde. Store, modbydelige trolde.
Elizabeth Curtis ankommer til Afrika for at lede efter sin mand, der er forsvundet i sin søgen efter de legendariske Kong Salomon’s miner. Hun får hjælp fra storvildtjægeren Allan Quartermain, som modvilligt må acceptere, at hun insisterer på selv at deltage i ekpeditionen.

Men pingvinerne holder stand. De kan svømme, men deres helt specielle form for yngel og æglægning kræver, at de også opholder sig på den faste, kolde is.
Disneynature's Elephant følger den afrikanske elefant Shani og hendes livlige søn Jomo, da deres besætning foretager en episk rejse hundreder af kilometer gennem den store Kalahari-ørken. I løbet af 13 somre rejste grizzlybjørnseksperten Timothy Treadwell til Alaska for at studere og leve med bjørne. Ekspeditionerne fik en brat afslutning i 2003, da Timothy og hans kæreste blev dræbt af en bjørn. Werner Herzog gennemgik over hundrede timer af Timothys egne optagelser for at lave denne dokumentarfilm.
