Vi møder vi tordenguden på en ny og uvant rejse - en søgen efter indre fred. Men Thors otium forstyrres af en galaktisk skurk kaldet Gorr Gudeslagter, der ønsker at udrydde alle guder. I kampen mod denne trussel søger Thor hjælp hos kong Valkyrie, Korg og sin ekskæreste Jane Foster, der til Thors overraskelse er bevæbnet med hans magiske hammer, Mjølner, i rollen som Mægtige Thor. Sammen drager de ud på et hårrejsende kosmisk eventyr for at afdække mysteriet bag gudeslagterens hævntogt og stoppe ham, før det er for sent.

Historieundervisningen bliver pludselig meget mere spændende, da den amerikanske skoleelev Percy Jackson opdager, han er søn af havets gud, Poseidon. Det betyder nemlig samtidig at Percy er en halvgud! Uheldigvis mistænker Zeus den unge knægt for at have stjålet sit lyn, og så er der ballade på Olympen.

Amazoneprinsessen Diana vokser op langt fra civilisationen på den skjulte, eksotiske ø Themyscira blandt krigeriske kvinder, hvor hun trænes til at blive en uovervindelig kriger. Men da piloten Steve nødlander i sit fly ud for øens kyst, vendes der op og ned på alting. Steve kan nemlig fortælle om den ukendte verden, der plages af rædslerne fra Første Verdenskrig, og Diana beslutter sig for, at hun må hjælpe den amerikanske soldat med at vinde kampen mod den tyske fjende. Selv om hun besidder overmenneskelige evner, er det først, da hun står side om side med mænd i en altafgørende krig, at hun opdager sine sande kræfter - og sin skæbne.

Perseus er født af en gud, men opfostret som en mand. Han ser sig ude af stand til at redde sin familie fra den hævngerrige underverden-gud, Hades.

For at redde guderne og menneskeheden fra den visse undergang må Perseus begive sig gennem Tartaros' labyrint sammen med sin fætter Agenor og krigerdronningen Andromeda.

Dette herlige eventyr, med baggrund i den græske mytologi, har fantastiske special effects af Ray Harryhausen. Jason gør krav på tronen i kongedømmet Thessalien, men for at opnå dette må han først finde og hjembringe Det Gyldne Skind. Med hjælp fra gudinden Hera sammensætter Jason en flåde, som drager af sted og på vej mod målet udsættes for de mest utrolige farer og forhindringer.

Dario, en krigshelt fra Athen, er på besøg på den græske ø Rhodos. Her får han lejlighed til at overvære den officielle ceremoni, der markerer afslutningen af konstruktionen af en gigantisk statue, som øens beboere tror vil beskytte dem. Hvad Dario ikke ved er, at der allerede er sat et skummelt plot i gang fra en gruppe oprørere på øen, og pludselig er krigshelten fanget midt i denne konflikt.
