Zástupci úřadů jsou rozhořčeni, protože Klan vzkvétá, i když se jim podařilo zabít jeho vůdce. Do boje proti Klanu se zaplétá kapitán Jin. Lstí získá důvěru Mei, která je zřejmě dcerou starého vůdce a která jej má dovést dovnitř Klanu. Oba se snaží nedávat své city najevo, ale pod noční oblohou nelze odolat nezadržitelné vášni. Příběh se odehrává v Číně během dynastie Tang (618-907). Vše začíná tím, že se ve městě Chang'an objeví černá démonní kočka, která naruší klid města svými krutými činy, což spouští řadu zvláštních událostí. Příběhem nás budou provázet dvě hlavní postavy Kukai (Shôta Sometani) a Bai (Xuan Huang). Kukai je japonský buddhistický mnich, který byl poslán během dynastie Tang do Číny, aby se dozvěděl o její civilizaci a naučil se tantrickému učení. Císařský písař Bai se rozhodne stát básníkem, a to ho dovede ke chtíči poznání pravdy dávného příběhu. Básník Bai Letian a mnich Kukai se společně pustí do vyšetřování 30 let staré události ohledně smrti konkubíny Yang (Brittany Falardeau). Women of the Tang Dynasty is an upcoming Chinese television series based on events in the Tang Dynasty starting from the late reign of Wu Zetian to Emperor Xuanzong's accession to the throne. The series was produced by Lafeng Entertainment, directed by Chang Hsiao-cheng, and starred an ensemble cast from various regions. Filming for the series started in October 2011 in Hengdian World Studios.
