An Oral History of the Thames Lightermen.

Oral history project exploring the history of London's holiday campers. From the 1930s to the 1980s London’s workers increasingly visited holiday camps such as Pontins and Butlins, or run by trade unions and other social groups. It became a tradition for generations of families - a highlight of the year for all ages.

A documentary film made by local young people looking at the history of their community from the 1960s to the 1980s with particular interest in the murder of Gurdeep Chaggar in 1976, the 1979 anti-fascist demonstrations and the death of Blair Peach and the 1981 burning down of the Hambrough Tavern.

An oral history exploring the development of film projection and cinema in Kingston-on-Thames - from resident innovator Eadweard Muybridge through the heyday, decline, and re-emergence of cinema. Features interviews with historians, projectionists and usherettes as well as cinema-goers with rare footage and images from Kingston’s cinemas.

Exploring the history of Pehlwani.

This film is an oral history of the people who worked in the three main Thames side breweries in West London. These breweries were major employers - their smoke and smells dominating this part of London for hundreds of years.

This oral history documentary tells the story of early pioneering Panjabis who migrated to Southall in the 1950s and 1960s, their journey, settlement & struggles to establish themselves at work, in housing, in business and cultivate cultural activities for their community.

This project is an oral history of London's dock workers focusing on the fascinating history of the people who worked on the docks of London from the 1930s up until the closing of the docks from the 1970s.

Interviews edited and combined with archive and personal photos as well as archive footage to make a unique documentary film starring local people.
