قصة حب مأساوية تدور أحداثها في برلين الشرقية على خلفية ثقافة سرية خاضعة لسيطرة ستاسي. أمر كابتن Stasi Wieler بمراقبة المؤلف Dreyman والأنغماس بشكل أعمق وأعمق في حياته حتى يصل إلى عتبة الشك في النظام.

تدور احداث الفيلم بصفته عميل خلية نائمة في كوريا الشمالية، يتسلل ريو هان إلى الجنوب ويتولى دور أحمق القرية في بلدة ريفية. يراقب سكان المدينة وينتظر بصبر مهمته. في أحد الأيام، بعد عامين من لعب دور أحمق القرية، تم إرسال زملائه من نخبة الجواسيس هاي رانج، الذي تم تصويره على أنه نجم موسيقى الروك، وهاي جين، الذي تم تصويره كطالب عادي، إلى نفس بلدة ريو هان. يساعد الجاسوسين الآخرين على الاستقرار ويعلمهما كيفية التكيف في الجنوب. هناك تحول جذري مفاجئ في السلطة السياسية في الشمال ويتلقى الجواسيس الثلاثة مهمة عاجلة ونهائية.

تدور احداث الفيلم عن الأحداث الحقيقة في عام 1987 والتي أشعلت “انتفاضة يونيو الديموقراطية“ التي أطاحت بالحكم العسكري و أسست للجمهورية السادسة الكورية وهي القائمة حتى يومنا هذا. تأججت الأحداث من مقتل طالب جامعة سول“ بارك جونج تشول“ الذي لقى مصرعه إثر تعذيب وحشي وصعق بالكهرباء بالرغم من محاولات الحكومة التستر على مقتله زاعمة أنه جراء سكتة قلبية.
