يروي الفيلم في قالب حركي عن خالد الجندي الهندي والعضو في جناح اﻷبحاث والتحليل، والذي يُكلف بمهمة اغتيال الجندي المنشق كبير، وهو ما يؤدي لحرب شعواء بينهما.

تجسّد هذه الملحمة الهندية التي أبدعتها بوليوود بصورة معمّقة قصة تحول أحد الرجال من محارب بارع مُنتقم إلى قائد أسطوري ومُعلّم للبوذية.
