Things are not going as Michael had imagined. Not only do his friends let him down, but his family also continue to turn against him. They don't want to believe that he is actually gay. When Michael loses his last shred of hope, there is only one drastic way for him to escape this hell.

When Gabi and Gerd find out that they are going to be parents in less than nine months, they can hardly believe their luck. A dream that finally came true after so many failed attempts. What follows are more than eight wonderful years in which they laugh, dance, argue, cry and love. Day in, day out, little Noah plays with his toy cars, runs around the apartment and his laughter lights up almost every single room. Gradually, however, the seemingly perfect life loses its loving atmosphere and increasingly strange events change the lives of the protagonists in a surreal way.

Nico and Clara go on a bike trip together on vacation to focus on each other again after a long time. But the vacation doesn't go as planned, as the two have very different ideas about their time together. Clara is more interested in the sexual side of things, while Nico wants to reconnect emotionally. The tension between the two of them increases, things become violent and the relationship is put to the test.

Toni, a trans* man, and his girlfriend Mika are attacked in a club in the evening and the situation escalates. When both return to their apartment, exhausted and drained, they both have to relive the experiences of the evening within their own four walls and Toni is forced to stand up to violence and transphobia.
