Ieva is a teenager who’s facing the day of her grandmother‘s funeral. All Ieva wants is to say goodbye to her grandmother in her own way, but this goal is interfered with by the domestic problems of such processions and the growing distance between Ieva and her mother.

After a few unsuccessful mother’s attempts to start a conversation, the daughter admits that her ex-boyfriend is stalking her. Watching her being upset the mother gets the idea to take revenge on the boyfriend.

Before leaving for the foreign country, she needs to save up some money for her new start and begins working as a nurse for a bedridden man in a remote village of Lithuania. Time passes by slowly here, and the Spanish lover doesn’t pick up the phone for days.

But a war started in Ukraine and she decided to go there. Joan collects and transports materials for the soldiers to the battlefield in Ukraine. Joan tries to keep balance between being one day in war, another in peace. The film is a journey from one world to another and the line between these worlds is not clear. You must reconsider the meaning of “reality”. Everything is mixed up: the war is “there”, but it could be “here” anytime.
